They had to prep, sand, tape and prime with a low-quality 25-year-old paint job and the home has extensive 105-year-old intricate wood work and built ins. The team took their time to prime, sand and caulk with care before putting on the new paint. Very, very good value for extremely high level outcome. I chose Tricia's company to do a bunch of house repairs (new deck, turning the game room into an additional bedroom, repainting all of the walls, installing new flooring everywhere, installing new toilets, new bathroom hardware, new lighting fixtures, outside repairs, tree cutting, etc). I got quotes from a few companies and Tricia's had a good price point and most importantly a detailed description of the work that would need to be done, showing her understanding of the work involved.

I was out of the state during the remodeling work and we communicated easily via email (my preferred method of communication). She would also send me photo and video updates.

Tricia explained the pros and cons of one solution vs another (e.g. fixing a few boards in the deck vs replacing the entire thing or using one material vs another for repairing some outdoor columns). She was never pushy, she simply stated the facts and her professional opinion.

I had quite a hefty project with a few big work items, but also many small fixes. Tricia kept track of all of the work and got everything done in a timely manner and communicated the progress with me.

It's now been a year since the work has been done and everything is looking great! I hope to use Tricia's company again in the future for any other projects.

I know this is a little unusual- but I need to post a review that my interior designer partner sent me about my MOB general contractor partner, Tricia Johnson at PDX Arrow Painting & Construction LLC.

I already know how amazing Tricia is because I work with her on so many listing preps and repair addenda, as well as clients that are looking for remodels.

But this review came to me directly- from my designer that hadn’t worked with her until a recent project in Sherwood.

Since I know Tricia won’t share this, I will. This woman runs several crews of contractorswe are currently working on 4 listing preps as I write this.

She is also a single mom and is just BADASS.

So, if you need anything house related- remodels, painting, exterior, plumbing, electricalthis woman handles it all! On schedule, on budget and with patience and grace.

PDX Arrow was quick to respond to my estimate request and had the quickest turnaround time in getting me a bid. Their workers were courteous and professional and kept my home clean throughout the painting process. At the last minute, I asked if they could also refinish my front porch and they were able to accommodate the additional work within a couple of days.

Tricia Johnson, owner of the company, did a very thorough inspection, noting all carpenter repairs that needed doing. She has a crew for that, as well as painting. Her bid was within $100 of the other bid, but she was so detailed that I was really confident and went with her. So glad I did. She kept in close touch as we went forward with power washing, 2 days of scraping and caulking, and then working on the actual painting around our recent wet weather. Everything looks great. I've lived here long enough to have painted 2 times before this, and this time was far and away the best job.

Excellent work for a great price. They even added on some additional work I needed done at the last minute and got everything done quickly.

The project went well! I loved that Tricia came to check progress each day (sometimes twice!) I felt she wanted the work to be as good as she would have it in her own home. We had some hiccups - such as freezing cold weather that made it take longer to dry between coats - but all in all the project went smoothly. It looks great! I also liked that Tricia consulted on colors -- she has more experience than we do so it really helped us get the look we were going for.

I highly recommend Arrow. From the responsiveness of communication to the ability to finish a project quickly. From the time of the initial question to the project being complete was just days. I have already recommended them to two different people and will hire them in the future for my paint needs.

Tricia helped me pick out colors and ensured the quality of the painting done by her staff. We had a semi-complicated paint job in the dining room where I wanted to paint the tray (sp?) ceiling a bold color and the rest of the walls a neutral color. It turned out nice!
